The Real Fight - The Word Made Perfect - Part 6

PER-FECT /ˈpərfikt/

Having all the required or desirable elements, qualities or characteristics. As good as possible. Also known as exemplary, best, excellent, unrivaled, out of this world and/or complete!

But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:10-11

The Real Fight is for us to become perfect and complete (better said...when we grow up)! That which is perfect has come....Jesus! Jesus abides in us and we abide in him! WE ARE COMPLETE!

We all stumble in many things. Stumble means to momentarily lose our balance, slip, mistake or stammer!

The Real Fight is for us to grow up and the first step is our words, our tongue. James 3 tells us, by using an example, that large ships are driven by a very small rudder. The ships are turned whenever the captain desires. So it is with our words, tongues, a little member, that we turn our ships (our body).

James 3:6, our tongue is a fire! It is set among our members that it can make or breaks the whole body. It says no man can tame the tongue - however, when we grow up, when we become complete and stop being double minded, double tongued, or talking out of both sides of our mouths and become a living spring of life that yields life, and with the fresh flow of love, then we have mastered our "pilots" course! This is The Real Fight - The Word!

James 3:13 finishes with a question. Who is wise and understanding among you? This tells us are words are done in the meekness of wisdom! It also points out if you have bitterness, envy and self seeking in your hearts you will end up lying against the truth. Our words set a course. Set the course of the Kingdom of Heaven coming here to this earth!

It is more than just memorizing scripture, more than throwing out the seemingly appropriate words. Matthew 7:6 Don't give what is Holy to dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn and tear you to pieces.

Matthew 15:14 If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a ditch! So be a good steward of your words. Proverbs 2:11 discretion will guard you, understanding will watch over you! An insight; our words carry judgement. Whether we see it or not it lands like judgement on those who hear! When you tell someone "God loves you", they then have to decide whether or not God loves them! Judgement simply means the ability to make a considered decision. Our words bring an awareness to the ears and heart. If you tell someone they are stupid, the person thinks, weighs it and has to make a conclusion! Life and death are in the power of the tongue! The tongue being a fire, your words will burn into your very core, soul and sets a course for life and death!!

So the real fight as I said before, is in the arena of trying to redefine and restructure our words. It is an assault on our common sense. We are being strong armed, as those who are in charge are cleverly and persistently removing key words from our language right before our eyes and ears to constantly substitute words and to change phrases and grammar with vague words. This is a crafty way of putting away any and all truth. Veering us away from sanity, to complete insanity! Propaganda is the new King in our words. It is information that is based and has a misleading nature. Half truths or flakey facts...in short - Lies! They are all lies that are dressed up to influence public opinion. Somehow, somebody caught on that words are powerful and with these powerful words they can control and direct us or bully us and take away our speech...our free speech! But we have "The Word", we have Jesus, the word made flesh! We have Jesus abiding in us!

With just one small change in a word, the world is in absolute unrest! With just a seemingly rearranging of a meaning of a phrase, society has been destabilized and thrown into a war of words. With just a minor change in a word wrapped up in a lie, we have been sabotaged into throwing away the truth. Truth with a capital T!

Steward your words, we have been given a voice! Stewardship is being careful and having a responsible management of your life - life more abundantly. Choose your words wisely. We were going to share a Tucker Carson show that aired on the 18th of October "Authoritarians Know the Terrifying Power of Words" but oddly enough we are not able to find the episode to share!
